Children’s Day Celebrations
Children’s Day is observed to celebrate ‘childhood’. On November 14 every year, Children’s Day is celebrated to commemorate Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday. Nehru was immensely fond of children. It is a day to remember our leader who succeeded in helping our nation to become a world power.
On this day in our school, children are made to feel very special. They all look very colourful as they do not have to wear their school uniform, so it makes it a special day for them. Teachers willingly dance to the tunes of children on this day.
Many games, quiz and cultural programmes are arranged for students.
