Art is a gift which comes from nature and gives human beings self satisfaction, confidence and motivation. The visual arts play a significant role where children learn new skills and express their feelings through various mediums.

To inculcate appreciation for the arts in children, Art and Craft has been made compulsory subject where children are free to express their own ideas using various materials. This helps them to improve in concentration, memory skill and creativity.

Drawing, painting, collage making, and pottery will not only improve their skills but also give them the opportunity to interact with nature and our cultural heritage.

As a part of co-curricular activities, various competitions such as collage, hand painting, puppet making, mask making, poster making and so forth are conducted and are judged. Children of classes VIII & IX design the cover page of notebooks and the school magazine.

During hobby classes students interested in Art & Craft are made to work with different materials and the finished works are then displayed for an exhibition at the end of the academic year.
