Meenakshi Rangamanch ~ The Path to Artistic Excellence

Rangamanch is a space to dip into one’s own shades of brilliance and creativity and to take forward our Mother, Mrs. Meenakshi Balakrishnan’s desire to mould every child into a well-rounded and colourful individual. With easy access and proximity to the richness of dance, music, and drama, we hope to offer an immersive artistic experience to both our school community and the general public.

Beyond being a space for performances, our goal is to create a thriving centre for cultural activities, hosting events on a regular basis to nurture talent and bring people together. This initiative will also serve as a stage for accomplished artists, giving them the recognition they deserve and an opportunity to share their craft with a wider audience. Through this, we aim to cultivate aesthetic awareness, celebrate creativity, and contribute meaningfully to the cultural landscape of our community.

Rangamanch will serve as a premiere venue for:

  • Student performances.
  • Community cultural events.
  • Accomplished artists to showcase their talents.
  • Fostering deeper appreciation for arts, literature, and performance among our school community.
  • Providing access to cultural experiences for the broader public.

Rangamanch will help students gain:

  • Exposure to professional-quality performances that enhance cultural literacy.
  • Opportunities to perform in a well-equipped, dedicated space.
  • Technical skills in stage management, lighting, and sound production.
  • Motivation to participate in artistic endeavours.
  • Self-confidence through public presentation of creative work.

Our transformed auditorium will be more than just a performance space—it will be a cornerstone of our educational philosophy that recognizes the essential role of arts and culture in developing well-rounded individuals. Through this initiative, we will enhance our students' educational experience, strengthen our school community, and make a meaningful contribution to our local cultural landscape.
