Dr. Kalpana Sampath (Batch of 1983) PhD Social Work, is Director, EFIL Educational services dedicated to disseminating Life-education curriculum to educational institutions. She enabled social entrepreneurship development process amongst senior school students and youth, achieving over 3500 social action projects in the last decade impacting over 30000 lives so far. As board member of AMC, EFIL, and Ground reality Trust Dr. Kalpana Sampath supports the social cause of the underprivileged and differently-abled individuals. She feels blessed to have grown up in Kumarans, as the value of relationships, co-existence, and team bonding- some of the lessons she learned here, still hold her in good stead.
