Manish Shetty (Batch of 2014) has a B. Tech in Computer Science and is a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research. He works on designing intelligent systems and tools that aid the software development process. His research concerns combining statistical, neural, and traditional techniques guided by empirical insights to build developer tools. His work has had tremendous product impact, and resulted in 4 patents, 5+ publications, and best paper award nominations at top international conferences. He actively contributes to the research community through academic service at top research venues. He intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science soon.
