Meenakshi Shyamsundar (Batch of 2014) has a Master's Degree in ECE from the University of California, with an emphasis in Communications and Signal Processing, and is now with Northrop Grumman as MILSATCOM Systems Engineer, working to provide survivable and protected satellite communications to U.S. forces and selected allies worldwide. Her job involves Systems Analysis and Simulations that drive Space Segment Architecture. She has an IEEE publication for her thesis work on Design of a Quadrifilar Helical Antenna. She is also an active volunteer of Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) and is a columnist for their quarterly newsletter.
