Shriya Shankar (Batch of 2018) has a B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering and is the Founder of Sitara Foundation - projectsitara.org – an accessible edtech for rural India, working with 27 districts in Karnataka and 10,000+ children. She was the Indian Ambassador at Youth Lead Global, and Youth Board Member at Reap Benefit. Sitara has also been part of Solve Ninja Leadership Accelerator, Deshpande Startups Pre-Incubation, and Wadhwani Foundation Ignite. She works to create an equitable society through education. Kumarans has always inspired her to be the most integrity-filled version of herself, and she carries that energy to Sitara.
