Sneha Kappanna (Batch of 1996) is an acclaimed choreographer, Bharatanatyam danseuse, actor, storyteller and folkdance expert. She has a M.Sc in Psychology, M.A and Alankar degree in Bharatanatyam. Her company ‘Bhramari Dance Repertoire’ has done over 600 shows. Known as a pioneer in researching, documenting, training and performing dying folk dances of Karnataka, she is the co-founder of popular storytelling platform ‘Katha Corner’ and Executive director of ‘Kappanna Angala’, a cultural hub. She has been awarded the ‘Namma Sadakaru’ and ‘Natyaratna’. She believes that her foundations were laid here at Kumarans; a strong root that allowed her to stand tall.
